Sylvie Jagoury

Marketing Secretary

Sylvie Jagoury’s career story began with Verlinde 30 years ago. Her first post with the company was in the engineering and design office as secretary where she worked at that time on a typewriter and where 6 persons shared one computer. Gradually, over time, she carried out various roles within the company but always involving document processing.

My function

At present, Sylvie works directly with Jean-Yves Beaussart in the marketing department as she has for the last 18 years. Of an organized frame of mind, practical and rigorous, she manages and dispatches information involving Verlinde documentation both on an internal and external basis and is responsible for updates, stock auditing and the printing of documents. She arranges the provision of marketing tools for domestic and export partners as well as for trade fairs. She receives and redistributes tenders together with requests for quotes from customers. She it is who supervises translations, the press-book, messaging to customers and who updates the entire contacts database. Working closely with the engineering office or even for the training section, she supplies them with just the technical or administrative documentation they need, no more.
Sylvie particularly appreciates her autonomy and the way she is trusted by her hierarchical superiors at Verlinde.

My hobby

An avid reader, Sylvie has always been an enthusiast of thrillers. Very set on contemporary authors like Guillaume Musso and his latest work Un appartement à Paris, Harlan Coben and his series of novels depicting a sports agent and former FBI investigator, Myron Bolitar or one of the most successful suspense novel writers ever, Mary Higgins Clark. At other times, using the paper version and never an ebook, Sylvie feels at home with figures and loves solving Sudoku puzzles.
